The Oyate Series Features over 50 different Native American and Island Tribes.  A landmark series with music that has never been recorded before!

Oyate Ta Olowan was a 52-part Native music series produced for public radio during the nineties. Each CD contains the 30 minute show which tells stories, explains the music and adds detail about producers Milt and Jamie Lee's experience in this place.  A second track includes all of the music featured within the program but without any interruption.

Funding for Oyate Ta Olowan was provided by The Corporation for Public Radio, Public Radio International, The National Endowment for the Arts, Native American Public Telecommunications, and The Seventh Generation Fund.  The series was produced by Milt Lee and Written by Jamie Lee.  The Lees currently live in northern Minnesota.  They are involved in several different projects.  Links are provided below.
